Bribe Officials

If you trade on the Black Market, there is a chance that you may be caught by local planetary officials (the chance of you being caught depends on whether you are in a faction, your rank in the faction, and whether you have hidden holds or not).

When you are caught smuggling, you will have to pay 20% of the profit you made to bribe the officials. Then, your record is wiped clean. For attacks, your bounty will be based upon how much damage was done or how much cargo was taken. Finally, if you fail to pay taxes, you can have a bounty placed on you proportional to the amount you would have owed.

Money that is used to bribe officials goes to the planet's government fund.
