By clicking on an offender's popularity you can see information showing what they have done to lower their Popularity.
When bounties are carried out on offenders the player will be removed from the list until they get a new ship. Also, their Popularity will be increased. Popularity will only be affected if the player who attacks/kills the bounty has accepted the bounty, even if the player who set the bounty attacks without accepting the bounty themselves.
When placing a bounty you must specify the following: How long the bounty will be active for, how much you'll pay for the bounty, what kind of bounty it is, and when it will end.
There are two types: attack and destroy bounty. Destroy bounties have a greater effect on Popularity than attack bounties.
The amount you will pay for the bounty is automatically taken from your Government fund. The minimum amount is $100,000.
You can also include a message for the bounty. It is unofficially considered the honorable thing to do if you include who you are and why you've placed the bounty.
The Most Wanted list now contains possible reasons why a player is on the most wanted list. Including:
- Number of Attacks in the Planet Sector *
- Number of Kills in the Planet Sector *
- Amount of Illegal Cargo traded at the Planet
- Amount of Credits not paid in Tax
Stats only recorded from 2850.00 CE These stats only started being recorded as of 2850.00 so a Player may be on top of the list and not have any of these reasons listed
- Does not include Bounty Hunters doing Attack or Destroy bounties
