Fresh Meat
The New Players List shows all the new Players who have activated an account in the last twenty-four hours. It also shows the name of the ship the player has selected, the type of ship (CX-1300, GN-302, or MS-200), which Government or Faction the player has joined (if any), and whether the new player is online or offline.
This page is used by many Governments and Factions who are recruiting new members. Though alot of the rookies dont actually stay causing them to take up space and making it hard to find good active players sometimes. Also you run across the problem of having to teach players who are from the New Players List 75% of the time, which not all of us enjoy.
The New Player List is available on the toolbar at the bottom of the browser window while playing. It always adds the newest player as soon as they arrive, those making them "Fresh Meat"to hungry factions looking for new recruits.
