The current Takar Republic took office in 6255.25 CE replacing the older Takar Council. The election was between Keiran Eldros and Peace Keeper with Keiran Eldros emerging victorious.
Takar enjoys a strong trading relationship with it's nearby neighbor Jakar and has been the source of some strong profits in recent years. Takar is also allied with the First and Second Echelon Fleets.
Takar is a proud member world in the Altian Council.
